TENDING THE TENDER: A 7-WEEK JOURNEY

Mondays, October 12-November 23, 2026

6:30-7:30 PM ET

Registration Closes: Wednesday, October 7

Pause. Listen. Tend.

So many of us spend our days tending — to others, our families, communities, organizations, movements, our bodies, the seen and unseen, all the things & beings that ask for our care.

But who tends the tender?

Tending the Tenders is a seven-week communal practice that turns some of that care back toward ourselves and toward one another. Each week, two members of the Tend Collective Founding Circle will hold a gathering exploring a different layer of tending — from breath and body, to mind and inner knowing, to joy, aliveness, and ultimately, to each other.

Tending here is not a private, isolated act. Across the seven weeks we step into the relational aspect: tending and being tended, witnessing and being witnessed, giving and receiving, and recognizing and honoring the web of interdependence we already live inside.

Movement, rest, breath, meditation, sound, poetry, somatic practice, and reflection are all present — woven through with storytelling, play, joy, and devotion as the way the practice of tending comes alive.

The Container

  • Small, intimate cohort.

  • Seven weekly online gatherings (live on Zoom - recordings available)

  • Supportive group on Circle (online community platform) for ongoing connection

  • Shared container of community care and reflection

  • Three additional hour-long vigils to integrate, sit, connect, witness and be witnessed

Guided by a different pairing of two Tend Collective facilitators each week.

The Journey

Over seven weeks, we’ll move from body to belonging, exploring what it means to listen and tend ourselves and one another through embodied practice, reflection, rest, and community.

Week 1 · October 12 — Welcome: Listening for What Needs Tending
We begin by exploring what tending means, how it already lives in our lives, and what is yearning to be tended.

Week 2 · October 19 — Body: Embody
Through somatic practice, movement, restorative yoga, and rest, we practice listening compassionately to the wisdom of the body.

Week 3 · October 26 — Breath: Enliven
We explore breath, sound, and the rhythms of receiving and releasing.

Vigil · October 29: an optional space to rest, integrate and share at a slower pace. 6:30-7:30 p.m. ET

Week 4 · November 2 — Mind: Attend
We meet our thoughts, emotions, and patterns with curiosity, compassion, and care.

Week 5 · November 9 — Inner Knowing: Discern
Through stillness, meditation, Yoga Nidra, and deep listening, we make space for intuition and inner wisdom.

Week 6 · November 16 — Joy & Aliveness: Receive
We explore pleasure, creativity, gratitude, movement, and awe as essential forms of tending.

Vigil · November 17: an optional space to rest, integrate and share at a slower pace. 7:00-8:00 p.m. ET

Week 7 · November 23 — Belonging: Weave
We close by exploring reciprocity, asking and receiving, witnessing, ritual, and the ways care can move through community.

Vigil · December 7: an optional space to rest, integrate and share at a slower pace. 6:30-7:30 p.m. ET

Each week, you’ll leave with a simple Sadhana Seed — a small practice or inquiry to carry with you into daily life.
